Terms and Conditions (T&C)
Riad Albatoul – Marrakech

I. Scope

These Terms and Conditions apply to all contracts for the rental of rooms as well as all additional services provided by Riad Albatoul, a luxury boutique riad in Marrakech.

By making a reservation, the guest acknowledges and accepts these terms as binding.

II. Conclusion of Contract and Parties

The accommodation contract is concluded upon acceptance of the guest’s booking by Riad Albatoul. Confirmation is generally provided in writing or electronically.

The contractual parties are Riad Albatoul and the guest. If a third party makes the booking on behalf of the guest, that party shall be jointly liable together with the guest.

III. Services, Prices and Payment

The riad undertakes to keep the booked rooms available and to provide the agreed services to the highest standard.

All prices are stated in the indicated currency and include applicable taxes and charges, unless otherwise specified.

A deposit of 30% of the total amount is required to confirm the reservation.

The remaining balance is payable upon arrival, unless otherwise agreed.

IV. Cancellation and Refund Policy

In line with our commitment to flexibility and transparency, the following conditions apply:

Free cancellation is possible up to 15 days prior to arrival, 14:00 (local time).

In case of timely cancellation, a full refund of all payments made will be granted.

For cancellations made less than 15 days prior to arrival, the 30% deposit will be retained.

In case of no-show or early departure, the riad reserves the right to charge up to 90% of the total booking amount.

Any savings or re-letting of the room will be taken into account.

V. Cancellation by the Riad

Riad Albatoul reserves the right to withdraw from the contract if:

  • agreed deposits are not paid within the specified timeframe
  • force majeure or unforeseen circumstances make it impossible to fulfill the contract
  • false or misleading information has been provided during booking
  • the safety, operation, or reputation of the riad is at risk

In such cases, the guest is not entitled to compensation.

VI. Arrival and Departure

Your suite will be available from 15:00 on the day of arrival.

On the day of departure, we kindly ask you to vacate the room by 12:00 (noon).

Late check-out may incur the following charges:

  • until 18:00: 50% of the room rate
  • after 18:00: 100% of the room rate

VII. Use of Rooms and House Rules

(1) Rooms may only be used for accommodation purposes.

(2) Subletting or re-letting is not permitted.

(3) Guests are required to treat the riad’s property and facilities with care.

(4) Any damage or loss must be reported immediately. The guest is liable for damages caused.

(5) The riad is a place of tranquility and relaxation; guests are expected to behave respectfully towards other guests and staff.

VIII. Liability

(1) The riad is liable within the framework of the applicable laws of the Kingdom of Morocco.

(2) Liability is limited to cases of intent and gross negligence, where legally permissible.

(3) Liability for items brought onto the premises is governed by statutory provisions.

(4) Guests are advised to use available safes for valuables.

IX. Data Protection

(1) Personal data of guests is processed exclusively for the purpose of handling bookings and stays. For more information, please refer to our privacy policy.

(2) Data processing is carried out in accordance with applicable data protection laws of the Kingdom of Morocco.

(3) Data is only shared with third parties where necessary for contract fulfillment or due to legal obligations.

X. Force Majeure

If the riad is unable to fulfill its obligations due to force majeure (e.g. natural disasters, political unrest, pandemics, governmental measures), no liability for damages shall arise.

Payments already made will, where possible, be refunded or credited for a future stay.

XI. Final Provisions

(1) Amendments or additions to these terms must be made in text form.

(2) The law of the Kingdom of Morocco shall apply exclusively.

(3) Place of jurisdiction is Marrakech, to the extent permitted by law.

(4) Should any provision of these terms be invalid in whole or in part, the validity of the remaining provisions shall remain unaffected.
